What to expect from your Leeds Wedding Photographer
As a professional wedding photographer, I’m very adaptable in my approach.
Beforehand, we will meet to discuss your expectations and preferences, if you have any. If not, then not to worry, we can explore styles of wedding photography to find your taste and look through previous work to gauge exactly what it is you both like.
My job as your wedding photographer is to tell the story of your big day through my photography. I’ll ensure that your portfolio at the end of it all tells your story from all angles and narratives.
From the pride of the father of the bride walking you down the aisle to the smiling tears at the ceremony, I will be there to get it all.
I’ll strive to capture all the special moments from your wedding day in West Yorkshire through candid, natural moments and arranged wedding photography of family and friends. Again, it’s up to you. I’m here to advise you!
On top of this, I’ll make sure to snap your beautiful venue too so you can always remember exactly how it looked. I’ve been shooting weddings for over a decade so I know how to capture your treasured memories.

Applewood Weddings

Situated on the outskirts of Leeds this wedding venue is set in three acres of beautiful West Yorkshire woodland. With a dedicated outdoor ceremony area, woodland pathways, your entire wedding will take place under a canopy of trees, in a spacious yet intimate setting beloved by guests and wedding photographers alike – family photos and portrait photography always comes out brilliantly here!
Britannia Leeds Bradford Hotel
This wedding venue offers a bespoke package that can cater for everything from small intimate events to larger wedding parties. The three acres of landscaped grounds and stunning panoramic views of the Yorkshire Dales provide a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photography.
Cookridge Hall
Dating back to 1721, the Grade II-listed Cookridge Hall is a picture-perfect backdrop to your wedding day. Civil ceremonies for up to 50 people can be held in the Cedar Room, or between 80 – 120 guests can be catered for in the conservatory room overlooking the stunning grounds.
Crowne Plaza Leeds
The Crowne Plaza Leeds has two function rooms available, one catering for up to 60 guests and the other for 200 guests, with 135 rooms available. The all-inclusive wedding package can be tailored to your specific needs, you can dance the night away with the resident DJ until 1 a.m. Large family weddings are easily catered for by experienced staff who will look after your every need.
Left Bank Leeds
Left Bank in Leeds is an impressive Grade II listed building complete with wonderful arches and high ceilings to provide a stunning backdrop. The beautiful Rose window allows the sunshine to flood the venue – one of the most stunning venues in West Yorkshire with capacity to host up to 300 guests.
Malmaison Leeds
If you are looking for something a little quirky the Malmaison will not disappoint, it is the perfect blend of modern style, fantastic atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. Their largest private dining room can accommodate up to 32 guests for your wedding breakfast, whilst the private events floor can cater for 120 guests at the evening reception.
Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel
Once you step inside the Mercure Leeds you will be met with a mix of contemporary décor and 1930’s glamour. With 118 rooms, 130 acres of stunning formal gardens and beautiful parkland it would be quite easy to get lost in the comfort and tranquillity offered in the stunning gardens.
New Craven Hall
This versatile venue is contemporary and elegant, the vast hall acts as a blank canvas allowing you to create your dream day and produce stunning wedding photography. The industrious look of the brick walls and steel beams coupled with fairy lights creates an instantly relaxing atmosphere that is stunning and stylish.
Radisson Blu Hotel Leeds
Set in the heart of Leeds city centre, located in the Light shopping and entertainment complex the Radisson Blue Hotel offers easy access to bars, restaurants and attractions. With 147 meticulously restored rooms and suites, your wedding guests will be spoilt for choice. The former main office for the Leeds Permanent Building Society is an impressive Victorian building retaining its Art Deco style, the perfect canvas for your wedding photographer, creating lasting memories.
The Mansion
Just 10 minutes north from the heart of Leeds you will find this unique Greek Palladian-style mansion, a truly unforgettable venue. The Mansion set in over 700 acres of West Yorkshire parkland, woods and lakes offer a beautiful backdrop to your stylish wedding and some opportunities for amazing wedding photography. This spectacular wedding venue is packed with period features, including a grand sweeping staircase.
The Queens
As one of Leeds most well-known landmarks, in the city centre, the Queen’s offers outstanding Art Deco elegance and sophistication. The Queen’s ballroom is the perfect space for your big day and night, with a capacity to hold up to 450 people. For a more intimate, smaller celebration there are several other smaller, unique rooms to choose from. The chefs create a bespoke wedding menu tailored to your needs.
The Tetley
The Tetley is an amazing example of Art Deco architecture, where you will find many original features of the past brewery and stunning surroundings dating back to 1931. As a wedding photographer, I love shooting at unique places like this. There are two rooms available for your special day. The South Bank room offers flexible space for up to 100 guests, whilst the City Workshop can cater for up to 50 guests.
Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa
Have a truly spectacular wedding at the Thorpe Park Hotel. The gallery suite can host up to 90 guests with break out rooms to relax in or enjoy a reception drink prior to the ceremony. For a larger wedding, the Thorpe suite is a stylish, air-conditioned suite with a private bar, for up to 140 guests for a wedding breakfast and 160 guests for the reception.
Woodlands Hotel
As you approach this stunning country house turned boutique hotel down the sweeping driveway you will be in awe of the beautiful landscapes, your wedding photographer will be spoilt for choice here and the family photography will come out perfectly. The Woodlands Hotel can cater for between 30 to 200 guests in their events spaces, including a stunning garden terrace and grand marquee space.
