This is quite simply a stunning wedding venue, one of my favourites, in fact, as a Waterton Park wedding photographer. I’m lucky to be one of the few recommended wedding photographers for Waterton Park Hotel.

The History Of Waterton Park
Built in 1767, Waterton Park Hotel is in the heart of Yorkshire in Walton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF2 6PW. Formerly known as Walton Hall after it’s 19th-century owner, Charles Walton, it is also an eco-hotel with all the hot water and heating powered by the lake. The island is something really different. I’m not sure you’d be able to find a more perfect backdrop for your wedding photography needs. I hold a PfCO drone licence so it enables me to get you some stunning shots of the hall, as well as something completely different for your group shots and wedding photographs.
They are able to cater for up to 200 guests in the hotel. Smaller, more intimate weddings can be held on the island itself. Whichever setting you choose to have your wedding at Waterton Park, you will be spoilt for choice.

The rooms are beautiful and great for your pre-wedding photography at bridal preparations. Personally, I love to take Brides and Grooms around the grounds on the island for some great wedding photography opportunities.
It’s a lovely time to relax and enjoy being away from your wedding guests for half an hour. Allowing you to breathe out and get some great wedding photos. There are lots of great angles to catch the stunning features of the house for your wedding photos.
This venue gives you so many different options for your wedding photography. As you can see from the wedding photograph below, Waterton Park Hotel looks amazing at night and even in the rain.
After the sun goes down… it looks truly stunning.
